Training that Matters. Empowering your Staff

"Very relevant and important for all public services. The most interesting and inspiring training I have ever attended."

All specified authorities subject to the Prevent Duty need to provide appropriate training for staff.  As former Prevent Officers with a wealth of experience in the strategic and practical implementation of the Duty, we can assist you in fulfilling your legal obligations.

Our extensive knowledge and experience of Prevent and safeguarding enables us to develop bespoke, informative and inspirational training for local government, education and childcare, health and social care, criminal justice and police. We have successfully trained thousands of professionals in Prevent, including chief executives, elected officials, headteachers and frontline staff. Please see our testimonials page for some examples of recent feedback.

Our training will enable you to:

- Understand key definitions such as extremism, radicalisation and terrorism, the relationship between them and how they are relevant to your role
- Recognise the vulnerabilities and warning signs of radicalisation
- Understand how to prevent people from becoming drawn to extremist ideologies and terrorism through Prevent and Channel
- Learn about relevant case studies from experienced Prevent practitioners and former extremists
- Know how to obtain appropriate support to safeguard vulnerable individuals

We will empower you with the knowledge and skills to understand and implement the Prevent Duty by embedding it within existing safeguarding frameworks. Our open and honest sessions will give you the confidence to debate controversial issues, implement British values and challenge extremist arguments. The priority of our training is the welfare and safeguarding of children and young people.

We recognise that there is no 'one size fits all' approach to understanding radicalisation. Our competitively priced training will be tailored to your individual needs depending on your organisation, role, location and experience. As well as staff training we provide inputs for students, workshops and conferences. We can also assist with the strategic implementation of Prevent through risk assessments, vetting policies and safeguarding advice consistent with the latest Ofsted and government guidance.

We also offer impactive training on a range of other safeguarding issues, including hate crime, bullying, knife crime and drug awareness.
